Last email everybody, it's been quite the ride. 2 years is up! Ill be flying home Wednesday morning. I can't even begin to describe the experiences Ive had as I've served the Lord for these past 2 years. I've gained so much, I've learned so much, but out of everything I have the thing I treasure most is my testimony of the Ressurected Savior. He is real and there is no doubt that he is present in our lives today. Over the course of these 2 years I've gained a deep love for the Savior and have been able to better recognize everybody's potential as a divine son or daughter of God. There is nothing more special than to see someone begin to recognize that for themselves. I'll be giving my home coming talk Sunday September 8th at 10am Texas time for any out there who want to come! Email me for more details, just give me a few days to figure out all the details myself. The Church is true! I know it is led by the Savior Himself! Love ya!

The further you are along in serving a mission the harder it is to write emails for some reason, sorry for the radio silence. It the end of the transfer so I figured I should probably send an update. I'm serving in Hurricane now, it'll will be my 2nd transfer here. My companion, Elder Silvestro, is going home tomorrow and my new companion will be a Missionary named Elder Spears, and I'll be training him as a zone leader. Both elders are beast! I'll be sad to see Elder Silvestro go, we had such a fun transfer. We've had some amazing baptisms this past transfer, Layne Sheldon, Yvonne Halter, and Rheo Hovdal, some pics down below. On top of that, ive got 1 transfer left, about a month and a half on the mission. Kinda weird to think about it but elder spears and I are going to grind, just you wait. See yall later!

For my personal studies, I have been reading through the Book of Mormon and highlighting all the tender mercies of the Lord that I see and right now I am in 3 Nephi when the ressurected Christ visits the people in the America's. In chapter 13, He is giving His Sermon on the Mount discourse to these people, similar to his Sermon that He gave in Matthew 5-7. The verses that stood out to me were verses 31 through 33, where Christ says:     "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?      For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.      But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." The Lord is asking for all of our effort in doing His work and He promises that our needs will be met. He sees your effort, He knows exactly what you need, and He will provide everything according to His mat...

Quick update everybody! It's been a minute since the last email (sorry) but here's a rundown of everything. First of all, thanks again for all the birthday wishes! Sorry if I haven't responded to your email yet but I've read them all!  The qeek I wrote my last email I got transfered from Washington Fields up to Cedar city. Also with this transfer I became a zone leader over the Cedar zone which has been an expirence, let me tell you. Time just seems to disappear completely now, so any things to take care of, missionaries to watch out for, trainings to give, councils and meetings to plan, etc... I'm ready for a big long nap.  We've had a couple baptisms, one for a girl named Addie and another for a guy named Tim with a few more coming up. Amazing people, the it was very clear that the Lord has been preparing them!  The past couple preparation days have been awesome too, we got to go work on some big rigs and the owners gave us some rides around town, what a bla...

What's up everybody! Sorry it's been a while since I've written an email but how's life going?  We started this week off pretty normal, Elder Richardson and I just biking around and talking to everybody. It rained on us a few times, which now I feel like a real missionary cause that's how they did it in the old days. One super cool thing happened this week, we met with Asher again and put him on date for baptism on February 17th! The lesson went really well. Asher has a really hard time paying attention usually but he was able to focus for most of the lesson this time. We got out of the lesson and told him to go tell his parents about the date and continued on with the day.  I was really worried about what the parents would say, if they would be OK with Asher learning or if they'd complete shut it down. One tender mercy that the Lord gave us though was that we happened to run into Asher a few hours later completely by accident. (Fun story actually, it was 8pm,...

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope that you all are having a wonderful holiday season! This past transfer has been a blast so far, from getting brand new bikes, finding new friends, talking to literally everyone we see, and sharing the joy or our Redeemers birth, there's just been so much going on! (Common theme for mission I've been finding, it never really slows down) I don't have too long but I wanted to share something I got from my studies recently. In 1 Nephi 11: 16 in the Book of Mormon the prophet Nephi is seeing a vision and conversing with an angel. The angel asks, "knowest though the condescension of god?" and continues on to describe the life of Christ. Christ truly condescended, leaving His throne above to live a mortal life here on earth. Isaiah 53: 2 says, "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him...

Merry Christmas everybody! And happy late Thanksgiving too I guess. St. George is wild but I've had a lot of awesome experiences here.  Let me tell you how this past week went though, first of all last Tuesday we had zone conference and Elder Martinez of the Quorum of the 70 came down to speak with us. He and his wife are awesome, they gave us some training over how to teach lessons more effectively as well as how to ask better inspired questions. Later that evening we had the chance to put that training into action with Elder Martinez-- out of the entire 2 zones that attended zone conference he chose to come proselytizing with Elder McDaniel and I for the evening!  We had an awesome night planned, we had 3 lessons lined up and ready to go and then 2 of them ended up canceling last second. Luckily we had some other visits to do as back up plans and even though some lessons canceled it was still an awesome evening. Our lesson that did go through was with a kid named Ashe...
