Kache's Mission

  Hey guys how's it going? Sorry, I completely spaced writing an email last week, I'll try to make up for it in this one.  These past two weeks went by pretty fast and so much has happened. We've met a lot of people and some of them were kinda crazy. This one guy called himself the Parowan Prophet and his story is that a while ago he crashed his airplane and went into a coma during which he had a vision from God. He believes he saw World War III start with Russia nuking Salt Lake City by this December. (He's been saying that every year though for who knows how long). He has dedicated his life to preparing himself and other people for this war and even created a website, post cards, and other stuff advertising his preaching. He's a good person though, really he's just trying to help people and is very nice and all.  I am also getting plenty of opportunities to speak in church, I spoke once on each of these past 2 Sundays and then next Sunday I'm speaking twic...

  Hey everybody, how's it been? Things have been going pretty good here, Parowan is a neat little town. There's a lot of farm ground and a lot of open space, so it feels a lot like home. The mountains are also amazing, it's been so long since I've lived by any mountains that I forgot how cool they are.  Things have been pretty chill this past week. Other than a car show and zone conference, nothing to exciting happened.  The car show was great, if any of you like classic cars as much as I do, I left some pictures down below for ya.   Zone conference is just a big meeting where all the missionaries in a certain area, or zone, get together for trainings and talk about how the work is going in their specific areas. Ours was on Tuesday this past week and we focused a lot on being bold in our interactions with other people. One scripture that we read was in Alma 38: 12 (in the Book of Mormon) and it says:        "Use boldness, but not overbearance...

  Hey guys, how's it going? Another week has already flown by, it's crazy to think that it was already over a month ago that I left home! How did your week go? Is time going by super fast or is it just me? First I wanted to tell you guys of the expirience with prayer this week. So I hadn't been feeling very confident in my teaching abilities these past few weeks and I struggled with with remembering the doctrine and saying what I needed to say. I was feeling pretty low one morning and felt like I should say a prayer. I normally say my morning prayers but this time it was different. I just poured out everything I was feeling and asked Heavenly Father for help or comfort or anything at all. I got done, not really feeling any better but I decided that I would try to lose myself in studying the lesson plans that morning. Looking back now, that was probably the best study I've ever had.
