Kache's Mission

  Wow, time just keeps getting faster! This transfer is already over and I've learned so much, more than I thought I could!  Some quick updates from these past couple weeks: First of all, Skyla got baptized! It was such a neat expirience, one of her struggles the past few weeks leading up to her baptism was not really being able to feel anything but after she was baptized and given the gift of the Holy Ghost she said she felt different, but very good! The Spirit is REAL and I know there is a power behind entering into a sacred covenant with God. She felt that too and we're excited to continue working with her! We've had a lot of good contacts with our friends as well and have begun to see some progress made with some of them! We are hoping to start teaching Star, Brilee, Colby, and Breklee in the next few weeks as all of them have expressed interest in meeting with us!   Aloha! What's up everybody! I don't know if I told yall this but my companion is from Hawaii and he says Aloha a lot! I figured it's a great way to say hello! Well, there's a lot to tell you about from this past week so starting from the beginning we were teaching this older lady named Charlene and she accepted a date to be baptized! Unfortunately she was not able to make it to church this past Sunday so her date will need to be pushed back a little so she has more time to prepare but she is willing to work towards that goal! We are also teaching a girl named Elizabeth. Now I can't remember if I already talked about her but she's 9 years old and her parents want her to learn about Jesus Christ and get prepared for baptism! She he has very strong ADHD so it's hard for her to learn and remember things but we found out that she loves art! We print out pictures of things that we teach about in our lessons and have her color them as we teach and so far it's...

  Hello! What's going on! This email is just going to be a quick one and I just wanted to share something that I've learned. We had zone conference last Thursday and the focus was having faith in Jesus Christ. Without faith centered on Him, we can do nothing and so I have focused on increasing my faith in Him. But you know what? This past week has been among the hardest weeks faith wise on the mission yet. We have not been seeing the success that we've wanted and it has been discouraging and hard, but one thing I noticed today is that we've had more successes that I've realized, such as our friends Skyla (who is getting baptized at the end of the month) and Braxton coming to church this Sunday! We've also been able to have quite a few lessons with our nonmember friends as well and we've really gotten to know the area good.  This feelings of discouragement and doubt I now realize were not my own thoughts and feelings, but that of the devil attempting to halt ...
