Kache's Mission

  Hey everybody, what's goin' on? Honestly I've had some trouble thinking of what I want to write about, the work has been a little slow here in Kanab at the moment, this week went spent a lot of time just cleaning up the area. We dropped quite a few people that we're just not progressing, went through a lot of contacts with people who we've had on our records for a long time that possibly had some potential but were just not quite ready, and just basically started over on our area.  Now that we're getting that stuff out of the way hopefully things will start picking up again. Spring and summer should also bring a lot of people to Kanab so looking forward to that! This week was kinda exhausting but it was fun as well, we had some of the most wack lessons with people this week. I probably shouldn't share the details but just know they were some interesting lessons. One was with a part member family, the mom and the kids are less active members and the husband...

  What's up guys! How's everybody doing? Honestly, nothing crazy happened this week so I'll just give you a quick run down of everything. Monday evening after pday we went to one of the YSA (young single adult, can't remember if I already said that or not) activities, they had a lot of rootbeer floats and afterwards made soda rockets with the empty soda bottles. We never got to see the rockets take off though, we had to leave early for a lesson, kinda disappointed. Tuesday nothing too big happened, visited a few of the members and shared a quick message with them and did some door knocking. Wednesday we had a lesson with Michael and went over the Plan of Salvation. I'm gonna say it again but he is doing very well, I'm excited to have his baptism here in a little bit! We also had a lesson with Ann and talked about some of her fears about fully committing to the church. One of the things that she brought up is "what is He going to make me go through?" Sh...

  Well, another week has gone by and a lot of good stuff has been happening. The best part was getting Michael on date for  March 31st ! He is super ready and is eager to get baptized, it's been awesome to be able to work with him. I don't have too much of an update for Daison, we did go over to his place and talked for a little bit. We didn't want to push too hard so we didn't share a message or anything, just kinda hung out to let him know we still appreciate him and his family. We are going back soon though to see how he's feeling about church so please keep him in your prayers! The power of prayer is real and I know that it can help Daison! That's about it, there are a few other people that we are trying to meet with, such as Ann and Chris, I can't remember if I've already told you guys about them but they are also getting closer to baptism, we've just had a tough time trying to schedule a lesson with them.   Hey guys, sorry this email is so late, today was super busy and I'll just give a quick run-down. This week was pretty normal, we had transfers and I got a new companion, Elder Brown, he's pretty cool, he loves to talk about cars a lot. Some other good news, we might be able to start meeting with Daison again soon! I'll let you know how that one goes later. Today for pday we got to hang out with Sean and Tikva Clayson and their little girl Reatta (I don't know how they spell it), went on a hike and got to see where they filmed Gunsmoke. It was an awsome day! That's about it, sorry I don't have any pictures but hope you guys are all doing well!
