Man, another week has already flown by, I feel like I just got done writing my last email!  I don't really have too many stories from this week, Tuesday through Wednesday nothing really exciting happened. We spent a lot of time walking and knocking doors without much success, most people won't even answer the door, much less show interest in learning more about the gospel. We did get to meet with a lot of the members though, they are super cool and are excited to have us over! We take the time to get to k on each other, share a quick message, and then sometimes they even have referrals for us, or people they know who might be interested in the church.  On Thursday we had our first District Council Meeting where we got to meet the rest of our district and talk about our missionary efforts in our areas. The only problem though is that it's a Spanish district. My companion and I are the only English speaking missionaries, I mean the other missionaries speak English too, th...

Wassup everybody, this week has been absolutely wild, like it's unbelievable, I can't even explain what I'm feeling right now! (I'm sure you other missionaries can relate) I don't even know what to write, there's just so much going on and if I wrote it all down this would be an extremely long email and it wouldn't make very much sense anyways.  So I'll just start out at the beginning and hopefully I'll be able to say what I want to say. Me and about 13 other missionaries who I didn't know left the MTC super early Wednesday morning, flew out of Salt Lake and touched down in St. George at about 11. When we got there, we were driven to the mission home where we got to meet our mission president, President Staples, as well as our new companion/trainer (trainers are expirienced missionaries who have been out for a while. They help us greenies adjust and learn how to be a missionary for real) President Staples and his wife are super cool. He is a fun...

Hey everybody, how's it going? Thanks for all you emails these past few days. I love hearing how all you guys are doing, it's unbelievably awesome to get to read all the stories and things you guys have going on! I so wish I had the time to answer each of your emails one by one, but just know that I'm reading and enjoying all of them! I can't believe that I'm almost done with the MTC already, this past week just went by super fast. It feels like I just got here like a day ago. At the same time though it feels like I've already been here forever. The days just kinda run into each other  and it is super hard to remember which day is which, even though I've been trying to write down everything (well, almost everything, I've missed some things here and there) in my journal.  Sunday was fun, we got to meet our MTC branch, the group of missionaries we go to church with, and had a great testimony meeting. We also had what the MTC calls a Go and Do experience, ...

This week was exhausting to say in the least. It was super cool though to finally meet my companion, Elder Eddie, as well as the rest of my district.  I have a few stories that I wanted to share the first one starting on Tuesday as I was getting ready to board my plane. As I was waiting to board a lady with 2 young kids started talking to me and asked whether I was leaving home or going home which confused me at first because I didn't know what she was talking about. When she said that she was asking about my mission I was kind of surprised, I didn't expect many people in Texas to know what a mission was. When I said leaving home, she replied that she was excited for me and was also a member of the church. We had a great conversation, nothing too special, but it wasn't until after that I realized talking with her helped me feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed.  The second story happened just right after our conversation as I was getting on the plane. After getting to...
