Letter #54

 The further you are along in serving a mission the harder it is to write emails for some reason, sorry for the radio silence. It the end of the transfer so I figured I should probably send an update.


I'm serving in Hurricane now, it'll will be my 2nd transfer here. My companion, Elder Silvestro, is going home tomorrow and my new companion will be a Missionary named Elder Spears, and I'll be training him as a zone leader. Both elders are beast! I'll be sad to see Elder Silvestro go, we had such a fun transfer.

We've had some amazing baptisms this past transfer, Layne Sheldon, Yvonne Halter, and Rheo Hovdal, some pics down below.

On top of that, ive got 1 transfer left, about a month and a half on the mission. Kinda weird to think about it but elder spears and I are going to grind, just you wait. See yall later!

  Yo what's up everybody! We're quarter of the way done already! Only 18 more months to go! Also this transfer is up, it absolutely jusr flew by.  So we got transfer news last night and turns out I get to stay another transfer here in Kanab! Elder Smith sadly got kicked out, he's going to St. George somewhere but best of luck to him! It was a fun 12 weeks with yah buddy! My new companion is Elder Brown, don't know too much about him but it should be all good.  This last week was great, again nothing too much went on, just doing a lot of contacts and door knocking. It was all pretry normal until Sunday which was a blast. First we gave a talk in Orderville 1st ward about the Sermon on the Mount and how Christ's teachings has helped on the mission, which went great, giving a talk is such easier now out on the mission.   How's it going everybody? This week has been a little better for us, we were finally able to go out and work finally! I've got some bad news though, Daisons baptism didn't end up happening, he decided he wasn't ready for baptism yet and asked us to try again later. On top of that Tikva said she didn't want to take the lessons anymore for the time being so that's a bummer. We will keep trying with both of them though, the wards here are doing a great job of reaching out and fellowshipping them! Please keep Daison and Tikva in your prayers! We were able to meet with another person this week, her name is Ann and turns out she lives right behind us. She is amazing though, she loves the church and the community, she has a few minor things holding her back from joining.   Hello! What's going on! This email is just going to be a quick one and I just wanted to share something that I've learned. We had zone conference last Thursday and the focus was having faith in Jesus Christ. Without faith centered on Him, we can do nothing and so I have focused on increasing my faith in Him. But you know what? This past week has been among the hardest weeks faith wise on the mission yet. We have not been seeing the success that we've wanted and it has been discouraging and hard, but one thing I noticed today is that we've had more successes that I've realized, such as our friends Skyla (who is getting baptized at the end of the month) and Braxton coming to church this Sunday! We've also been able to have quite a few lessons with our nonmember friends as well and we've really gotten to know the area good.  This feelings of discouragement and doubt I now realize were not my own thoughts and feelings, but that of the devil attempting to halt ...
