Letter #20
Hey guys, what's going on? I'll just dive right in, here's how the week went:
We had the english class again this past Tuesday, we still have no idea what we are doing but the people we're teaching are learning bit by bit!
We met with Dathon again and found out his name is actually Daison, oops, but the lessons are going well! We put him on date to be baptized for February 18th and he's super pumped about it and well, so am I! He such a fun kid, acts like he's on a sugar rush 24/7 but he's taking it in!
We also got to help someone move in to Kanab, I don't know from where but he did tell us that he would love to learn more about the church and possibly get baptized! We are currently trying to set up another time to meet with him this week, I'll let you know how that goes.
Today for pday we just hung out with the other missionaries, went up and visited the Fab Rats shop which was super cool. The Fab Rats are a family who run a YouTube channel, they do a lot of fabrication and off-roading stuff, check 'em out!
These past few weeks have been an answer to my prayers, it was a little difficult to find good work to do for a while there and it was hard to not feel lile I wasn't doing enough. I had been asking the Lord for help and for more opportunities to participate in missionary work and man, the Lord provided. Now it's starting to be a struggle to get everything done in proper time and order!
The Lord will always provide for our righteous desires, we just have to be willing to accept and follow through with what He gives us! And remeber He will never give us anything to hard for us that we cannot overcome without His help.
Love you guys, have a great week!
