Letter #23

Well guys, I don't have much to say this week for real this time. Anyways, Elder Smith got sick last Monday evening and stayed sick all the way through Friday. He spent his time in bed and I spent my time staring at the wall, playing with a Rubiks cube, cleaning, some contacting, basically not much at all. I did listen to like 40 of Elder Hollands talks though, it was almost like general conference again. Anyways, this past week was a little rough. I have no idea how missionaries during Covid did it, a week is bad enough, I can't imagine 2 years staying in the apartment.

We were able to go back out Saturday though and let me tell yah, best day ever! Knocking doors never felt so good. Sunday we gave some talks in church and had a lesson with Tikva, which went pretty well. We were talking about baptism and she finally opened up with some questions and concerns and we were like "Yes! Finally!!" The discussion we had was amazing and I know that she was able to feel the Spirit, at least a little bit. We invited her to ponder and pray over everything that was said before our next meeting, which I can't wait for!

Today for pday we got to go help butcher some heifers with Tikva and her husband  Sean, which was great cause we got some free hamburger out of it, pictures of the process below.

Well hope your guys week went better than mine, talk to yah next week!

1. Sick day
2. Meat processing
