Letter #31

Hey guys, big news! Transfer #5 is done! First things first though, I'll get to transfer news in a little bit.

This week was awesome! With it being Easter week and the challenge to have a greater emphasis on Christ in all we do from Conference, this week has been one of my favorites yet. It was a struggle again to set up lessons and find new people to talk to, so overall success has been hard to find. But despite that, and because of the Easter week the success we did have and the joy I felt was even sweeter.

We made a lot of contacts with people and although they weren't necessarily lessons and didn't last very long, the Spirit was super strong as we testified of Christ and His Resurrection.

I've tried to ponder over that event and what it means to us, specifically to me and if I truly appreciate it like I should. Well I came to the conclusion that I probably won't ever appreciate it fully, at least not in this life. Buuuut I do have a greater appreciation for it now than I did before. My testimony is that Christ lives and because He lives, so will we. He has bridged the gap between God, our loving Heavenly Father, and us, His lost children and made it possible for us to return to Him. What news could be more awsome than that? For everyone on this email, please think of how you can invite Christ to be in everything you do, it'll bless your life!!

Easter Sunday was like the cherry on top, we even got to help out with a sacrament service at the senior center. We got to visit with some of the older folk and listen to how happy they were that it was Easter. Overall, wonderful day!

We also picked up a new person to teach! Her name is Sadie Brinkerhoff and we stopped by her and her family earlier today actually, her family is less active and because of that she hasn't been baptized yet but she told us she wanted to be! The Brinkerhoffs are a fun family, it's too bad that I won't be here to teach her though....

So now for the transfer news, I'm going to Ephraim! I'm sad to leave Kanab, it's been such a cool area and I got to meet a lot of awesome people but I am looking forward to the new opportunities that I'll get for missionary work! I'll let you know how Ephriam is next week, but 'til then, enjoy this week!
