Letter #38

Howdy everybody, what's been going on? Sorry for the lack of emails on my part for the past 2 weeks, I've had some technical difficulties with my phone not sending and then deleting my drafts at random. So annoying.

Well anyways the past few weeks have been awesome! Just in short, we've been able to pick up quite a few new friends to start teaching and I'll give you a rundown of them:

Raylynn, Macady, and Boman are all recently turned 9 year olds who don't know too much about the church or even Christ in general but after some missionary magic and showing then how cool Jesus is they asked us to come back and continue teaching them! Boman is esspecially awesome, his love for Jesus Christ and the gospel is through the roof!

We also are teaching 2 other kids who are soon to be 9, a boy named Kyean and a girl named Annaleah. Their parents are less active who are trying to come back and want their kids to know who Christ is before they decide to get baptized.

Duncan is a young adult that we've picked up and honestly I don't know too much about him because every lesson we've had with him I've been on exchanges in another area, so I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Some other ones we have been working with (if you can remember them from past emails) are Gage, Kayden, and Niko, all 9 year olds. Niko is such a beast, coolest kid I've known on the mission yet! Right now we are working on getting him back on date to get baptized hopefully here within the next 2 weeks!

Elder Williams, my companion, is an awesome missionary. He knows a lot about missionary work and I've been able to learn a lot of things from him, fun fact, he's also from Texas! His family owns a Buffalo ranch just south of Tyler TX.

It's been an awesome transfer so far, and we're already over half way through! Time flys so fast. Hope you guys enjoy the week, esspecially all of you down in Texas. Can't say I miss the heat, stay cool ya'll!

Pics from the past 2 weeks, most of them are from a hike up maple canyon with the district, one is with Boman, and the other is ending our exchanges with the Mount Pleasant Elders:
